History
Vinyl siding was initially introduced into the market in the 1950's as a low maintenance replacement for wood and aluminum siding, and grew in popularity after the 1970's when it became easier to produce. Over the last decade, billions of square feet of vinyl siding have been installed in the United States. Within two to four years after installation, UV radiation and acid rain will start to deteriorate the surface, causing oxidation, fading, and a chalky appearance that is susceptible to the growth of mold, algae, and fungus.
Why Choose Vinyl ReNu
Vinyl ReNu is a clear, antimicrobial, polymer based product which penetrates and fuses with the vinyl to form a protective shield, restoring color and preventing further deterioration for up to ten years! Vinyl ReNu is low VOC and therefore environmentally and family safe. Also, restoring vinyl siding rather than replacing it helps keep millions of square feet of siding out of landfills, and requires less to be manufactured (polymers are derived from natural gas/petroleum, and the process uses tons of energy = NOT SUSTAINABLE).
The restoration process usually takes about 2 days:
- Day One: Power Wash with Vinyl Renu Professional Grade Cleaner to remove oxidation, mold, algae, bug stains, and more.
* DRY
- Day Two: Coat With Vinyl ReNu to restore and protect. *
NOTE: Siding must be completely dry before product can be applied, additional drying time may be required. * Click the links below to visit the Vinyl ReNu website for more info.
